ROLE DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Community Manager (The Entreprenista League) to join our smart, savvy, female led company as a member of our enthusiastic, creative, and driven team. We have our pulse on what women business owners and leaders need, and we’re making waves in the business world. We’re looking for a friendly, goal-oriented problem solver with a history of success in content creation and management, who will work with our Director of Membership & Community on  the acquisition, nurturing, and retention of our amazing Entreprenista League members.

High Level Responsibilities include:

  • Onboarding members
  • Daily engagement with members via email, social media, and our private community chat platform, Circle
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the member experience, including through partnerships, programming, perks + benefits, and other initiatives
  • Managing the member-centric content calendar - strategically planning and cross-collaborating with marketing and partnerships on a variety of content benefitting our members — from our newsletters, to posts in our private community platform, to social media, etc.
  • Hosting or Co-hosting 7-10 virtual events per month

The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator – both written and verbal – and understands omnichannel approaches to customizing a seamless experience catering to a community of women. 

We are looking for a customer-centric individual who enjoys hosting events and interacting with others naturally in a professional way. The Community Manager is hands-on and a stellar project manager. 

They will report to the Director of Membership & Community. This role is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where there is no shortage of projects to own or game-changing ideas to recommend. 

The Community Manager plays an essential role in member success and retention. Their top priority is to ensure each member of the community is maximizing their benefits and realizing value as a result. In addition to maintaining the health of the existing community, the Community Manager will assist in acquisition initiatives to grow our thriving network, including owning our ambassador program.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 or more years of experience in community building, community growth management, customer service, customer success, marketing and/or communications
  • Ideally past experience includes marketing, communications, and/or copywriting responsibilities; must be adept at forming a narrative and compelling call to actions
  • Natural people person and entertainer who is passionate about building relationships and providing an amazing member/customer experience.
  • Track record of highly-professional customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Above-average copywriting capabilities – sharp grammatical and formatting skills, ability to adapt to the Entreprenista brand voice, ability to be concise and compelling
  • Self-motivated, high sense of urgency, proactive team player with a bias for action, even when details are still evolving – able to define and execute projects independently.
  • Incredible communicator and presentation skills, comfortable presenting over zoom 
  • Process and data-oriented individual who can easily identify inefficiencies in processes and provide enhancements and/or new and more intuitive solutions.
  • High familiarity with G-suite, especially with creating well formatted and engaging Google Slide presentations
  • A digital native and fast learner on platforms such as Canva, Zoom, Circle, Stripe, et al.
  • Experience working with CRM / CMS platforms is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

 
Retention Marketing:
  • Be the primary advocate and voice of The Entreprenista League members ensuring that they receive maximum value from their investment and are fully leveraging the benefits of being in The Entreprenista League.
  • Regularly engage with members to understand what drives and motivates them, and what would best help them achieve their goals and life intentions. Support them through radically intentional communication, offering tailored recommendation for their needs.
  • Check in with all members periodically to ensure they are using their membership well and make suggestions on ways to use the platform
  • Contribute to our weekly newsletters and other communications campaigns, helping to keep members informed on what is happening inside the community
Content Creation & Management
  • Spearhead management of our community content calendar, including everything we post and communicate to members via our private community platform and private member’s only instagram channel (conversation starters, event announcements, educational content, etc.)
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative on written, graphic, and video content that educates, informs, retains, and engages current and prospective members.
Customer Service: 
  • Ensure prompt response to membership questions at the highest customer service level
  • Work closely with the Director of Membership + Community and the Member Support Coordinator to provide input into new solutions for members. Identify opportunities for process and product improvements to enhance the member experience and ensure retention.
  • Maintaining back-end system profiles in Klaviyo, Stripe, Circle, et al.
  • Stay on top of new features put our by Circle (our member platform) that can enhance or streamline our member experience 
Virtual Event Management: 
  • Assist in hosting engaging virtual programming, including networking sessions, orientations, office hours, educational and partner events, et al. (planning programming is the swim lane of a different community manager on the team, but you will be expected to provide input in planning and help with execution/hosting)
  • Drive registrants and engagement at each event, including inviting relevant members to specific events of relevance to them
Acquisition: 
  • While this role is primarily focused on post-sale retention, the Community Manager must be comfortable speaking to, promoting, and selling our core membership and various membership enhancements
  • Manage The Entreprenista League referral / ambassador program
  • Research & identify potential members and partners; work cross-functionally on co-marketing partnerships with our Integrated Marketing Manager
